Five stars for fish and chips? Really?
Well, the fish was perfectly cooked. No excess claggy batter weighing the fish down. Instead, it was a light coating that wasn't greasy! We ordered a large chips to share which was a gigantic portion of crispy chips. No soggy potatoes here. A side of curry sauce and a pickled egg topped off the meal.
But the highlight of the meal was the super friendly service. Unexpected but totally appreciated.
The restaurant is also immaculate and doesn't reek of oil and fish.
The only thing missing was a beer or wine menu to top off our meal.

Top quality trad fish& chips. Serious chips, made from actual potatoes.
The large is massive. I made 2 meals or of it easy.
Staff? Super friendly.
The menu claims grilled fish, but don't be fooled. Fried or nothing.
The quality? Top. Excellent stuff - better than Olly's, and more real. And it's less than 100m from my house.
Crap. That's half a stone, innit?
